A computational biologist joins HR...

may sound like the start of a bad joke.  But that’s exactly what I did in 2016.  I have a PhD in computational biology.  For the first dozen years of my career, I used data science to predict the risk of cancer, diabetes and solved other gnarly biomedical puzzles.

And then, I pivoted into HR.  Why?  Because I’d realized that science doesn’t happen in a vacuum; the people who do the science can make or break the chances of success.  Now I work on a new kind of gnarly puzzle: what matters for people to thrive at work?  How do you ensure people can engage effectively in teams and solve business challenges?  Download a one-page summary of my work to date or let's talk!
